Louis Vuitton s Stephen Sprouse Tribute Party

It s a party for this

little capsule collection we did

that s paying homage to Steven Sprouse,

a great designer and artist.

Steven died a few years ago but I had the pleasure

of collaborating with him for Louis Vuitton.

It s a celebration of an artist who I loved and admired.

I m wearing an original, one-of-a-kind Steven Sprouse.

The pink dress is from the 1984 collection

and this part he tacked on when we went to a party,

and he cut up silk-screen plastic

and then did the little kind of pins on it,

and these are Steven Sprouse heels too.

Black sweater and a kind of skirt-short thing

and Steven Sprouse leggings.

His vision lives.

This is from the Spring 1998 collection.

It s a Warhol print originally that s now

been silk-screened onto the dress.

When I was little, like, we just had this trunk of dress ups

and every time he would come to visit which was quite a bit,

he would just bring like little samples of things

and we would play dress ups and,

yeah quite a few different pieces throughout the years.

My own personal style?

A hoodie and jeans [laughs].

I m wearing Louis Vuitton head to toe.

Heels and some wide leg trousers.

A Wife beater and a fur and this amazing cuff

that I love and desire [laughs].

I try not to get too attached to my clothes.

I have a pair of really worn in jeans.

A.P.C. jeans that I just love,

that if somebody stole them I would probably cry.

I m wearing Louis Vuitton dress

and a leather jacket from ZARA.

I ve had it for a long time.

See, I m already getting holes in it,

but I think that s the cool part about it, you know?

This is vintage Marc Jacobs from his collection.

I am a fan of Sprouse.

I have a pair of his original tights in hot pink

with black letters on them, and a bathing suit.

That would have been a wild outfit tonight.
