An Embellished Collar with a Statement Necklace

Most people would say:

Okay you ve already got a lot going on with your collar,

I don t think you need to add to it.

That s exactly why I added to it.

The embellished collar is something that s fun,

but we ve seen it in fashion for a couple seasons now.

So, I felt that a great way to update it was

to add a big necklace.

This necklace is by Lanvin it s from their fall runway.

These are different enough but the same enough

that it s just I think it s really a question of texture.

Texture is what is often

so important in creating a look that s interesting,

creating a look that s different.

You know we all have our closet

that we look into every morning

and we think okay what am I gonna wear.

And did I wear this last week?

And how do I make it different?

Or what am I in the mood for?

And so, I think that it s really fun to push yourself.

It s really how you develop a look

and how you develop a point of view

and also how you develop confidence.
