I m obsessed with the pinnacle of luxury, and I think

Hermès is a house whose legacy is based on luxury.

I started my Hermès obsession one trip to London.

I think I was like 19 or maybe 20 years old,

and I bought an ostrich agenda.

And I remember buying it, and the friend

I was shopping with though I was completely insane

spending so much money on this.

And I m rather obsessed with the faux glamour of travel,

of which, truly travel isn t glamorous anymore,

but the accoutrement you use when you travel.

So I ve been collecting all these different travel bags

that you really can t travel with.

This is probably the raison d être.

This is a crocodile [Unknown Term] bag.

This bag, I got from Catherine Deneuve.

Hermès had made it for her, and I was lucky enough to

buy some really, really great items from her for the store.

And this is the only thing that was man-friendly,

so I decided to keep it for myself.

I have, I think, in my collection, five versions

of the same bag.

Everyone always wants to buy it,

but I just won t get rid of it.

I bought a whole collection of this luggage when

I got stuck in Jacksonville once.

I ve let a couple of designers borrow this bag.

What s interesting to me is to see how Hermès sort of

took this shape and eventually developed into

something like this, which is called the bolide.

But I think when it comes to leather or to precious skins,

this is the go-to house for the best version.

I mean, really, very couture.

Everything is made by hand until there s only

one bag that uses it, an actual machine to make.

Everything else is sewn by hand, but that could be a tale

by Hermès can give us.

Now this is a fairly contemporary piece.

This I got into bidding war with somebody.

I call this one my Mirkin, my man-birkin.

They sort of wobble a little bit, which I love.

A custom ostrich men s toiletry case.

It s so completely absurd for my personal lifestyle.

There s a lot of balle de golf that they have in Hermès.

There s always these golf balls.

This is how I m awoken every morning.

I bought this little crocodile vest,

which is rather hot to be wearing here today.

Okay, where s Hank? Hanky?

So Hank is the face of Hermès dog attire, hi baby!

No, his collar is not Hermès, I m sorry to say,

but the leash is.

He ll take naps on a Hermès blanket.

Fleece leather Hermès pillow that he sleeps on.

This is really sounding disgusting.

So I m going to take you guys to the TV room,

where we ve got some home objects.

This is a woven leather and wool blanket or throw.

And these pillows, I love the series.

Well, I have a pretty healthy relationship with Hermès now.

So I ve sort of been having things custom made,

and I m trying to get them to do a crocodile tie for me.

I m pretty much covered at this point.

I don t think I ll ever be over Hermès though.

I think the question for me is, Will Hermès get over me?
