Ever Wonder What It’s Like to Be a Fashion Writer for Vogue During NYFW?

My name is Chioma Nnadi

and I m the Fashion News Director of Vogue.com.

This Fashion Week we went and visited three designers,

Adam Selman, Creatures of the Wind,

and then there s Harbison.

They re fun designers and they make really fun clothes,

so it ll be cool to see what they re working on.

[Chris] A little bit of a Star Wars vibe.

I mean, for sure.

Sade, Pocahontas and John Smith, and romanticism

[Chioma] Okay!

I did these gloves,

So Cirque du Soleil.

You re like, Hey!

(laughter)

[Chioma] It s countdown time,

how many days do you have left?

It s like ten days away.

They were like, We need it by Sunday.

Wow

We re waiting on, like, four things.

[Chioma] We were a week away from fashion week,

and there were no clothes in his space.

Things are really intense.

[Chioma] For me, what s most exciting

is seeing a new designer, a new voice,

and seeing them grow into a bigger label.
