Hi, I m Constance.

You are at Midtown Club Tennis, and I m gonna show

you how to play tennis today.

My secret is the forehand, I have a pretty

good forehand.

So basically you put your feet quite

parallel to the net.

It s all about shifting your weight

from the back

then to the front.

It doesn t come from the wrist.

It really comes with your whole body,

and that s why you works the core

which is really important.

(upbeat band music)

Tennis is really hard cause it s sort

of really long in sport.

It s just you on the court, you have no team,

no teammates.

That can help you and cheer you up when you re losing.

It s a lot of upper body work, a lot of legs,

so it s a great sport to stay in shape.

(pop)

I love the sound of the ball.

(pop)

Ah, it just feels so good, you know?

I have been hit by a tennis ball so many times

also I have been hit by my own racquet.

I like to juggle with my racquet.

(laughs)

What the people don t know is that girls, we don t

have pockets, so the trick is to put the ball

right in there, the little shorts.
