Today we re gonna actually experiment with

more of a kind of Bordeaux lip.

I find this color somewhat rebellious as well.

The first color I m using, sort of a bit of a bricky tone.

Slightly more red, and the second one is also bricky,

but it s slightly darker, a bit deeper.

The third tone I m using is more plum,

it s more of a wine color and the mix of them together

I think really gives you the richness

that we re looking for.

I m gonna start off as more of a stain by

just dabbing it in the center of the lip

and working my way out.

These colors are great because they mimic a sort of

gothic glamour that I think is very popular now as well.

And then at the very end,

put a liner on the very end of the lip.

The color of the pencil is very similar to the color

of the lipstick that I ve already put on.

You don t want to go too dark, because if you go too dark,

that tends to make it sort of that really 90s

overdrawn and overlined lip, so what I m doing now,

one of the last steps I like to do to achieve a really matte

lip is to grab a tissue, usually tissues are two ply,

so you just split the tissue into two,

grab one of the layers of the tissue

and then grab a tiny bit of translucent powder

and apply it to the very top, you just kind of press it

into the lip area and there you have it,

a beautiful matte Bordeaux look.
