Yet, even when life demands a more simple, functional approach to style, Shayk proved today that even minimalism can still look downright sexy.
Snapped in New York City, Shayk tackled a rainy day in the chicest way possible. Slipping on a hunter-green trench coat by Burberry—with just a peek of the British label’s signature plaid seen on the lining—the model wore a classic black tank dress underneath, paired with the most status Wellington boots of all: Chanel rain boots. She further accessorized with black sunglasses by Celine and large gold hoops. All in all, it was a functional look that was heavy on the designer labels—not a bad way to tackle drizzly conditions. And it makes sense: when you’re a mom, pragmatism is key. Though, as Shayk so expertly demonstrated, why not add a little luxurious pizzazz at the same time?
