Ahead of tonight’s BAFTA Awards in London, Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson won the award for the best-looking couple of the red carpet. The pair embraced bygone glamour but added surprising subtle updates, which elevated their evening looks from timeless to show-stopping.
The Queen Slim actor, who is currently pregnant with the couple s first child, wore a sequined gown by Gucci, but with its sprightly yellow shade and a black scooped neckline, the red carpet mainstay felt entirely fresh. As for Jackson, he selected a classic black tuxedo, also by Gucci, but the satin bow tie and horsebit loafers gave his look a more youthful and modern feel. His quietly elegant look also ensured that all eyes were on his wife’s vibrant, colorful dress—the perfect execution of a well-balanced, his-and-hers moment on the step and repeat.
