Amal Clooney is on a street style streak. In addition to her work defending two imprisoned Reuters journalists, the human rights attorney and Vogue May cover star is currently revisiting her role as a visiting lecturer and senior fellow at Columbia University School of Law’s Human Rights Institute in New York City—where she s been sporting series of looks fit for the classroom, courtroom, or even after-hours. Clooney’s office-friendly ensemble today centered around Dolce Gabbana’s floral print skirt, a motif that seemed to herald the arrival of spring even if the weather has yet to fully catch up.

The skirt recalls a similar piece in lace from the Italian house Clooney wore in September 2016 while highlighting her case against ISIS. Florals-wise, Clooney has often gravitated towards micro-prints from Giambattista Valli (flirty tops in New York, coats and dresses in Paris) and Michael Kors (on a dress in New York), but today’s bunch felt like it ushered in a new season, literally and metaphorically, for the star. The oversize roses were the dominating element, so Clooney kept her accessories neutral, though black-and-white stilettos with a racer-like graphic put some extra spring in her step.
