First Hailey Bieber, Anya-Taylor Joy, and Selena Gomez—now Amelia Gray is cozying up in the fuzzy coat of the season.
The cold weather continues to permeate the fashion crowd, who have hopped from London to Milan for the next set of fashion week shows. While most of us suffer through these wintry months trying to determine how to layer well and keep chic in sub zero temperatures, the obvious way for any celebrity or it-girl is to come armed with a rotation of super extra statement coats. So Gray stepped out in the northern Italian city wearing a dark green yeti coat from The Attico, with a low-rise chocolate brown nylon skirt, fold-over suede boots, and an eggplant purple bag. She finished off the look with some dark angular sunglasses and a Hello Kitty coffee cup—vorrei un caffè per Amelia!
The recent Vogue cover star is the latest to try out the fuzzy, body-encompassing coat. Hailey Bieber donned multiple voluminous shearlings and faux fur coats during her time in Aspen; both Kate Moss and daughter Lila had a mother-daughter style moment in two shaggy coats; Selena Gomez did an engagement photoshoot in a taupe version; and Anya Taylor-Joy went pantsless in a gargantuan Alexander McQueen fall 2004 iteration in one of multiple outfit changes that day.
But it’s not like the weather has stopped Amelia Gray from turning looks recently. Despite the snow in New York, the model kept faithful to the underwear-as-outerwear trend with a Valentino spring summer 2025 runway look: a tiny polka dotted pair of lacey, scallop edge shorts with a red bow adorned bra and a sheer, fur cuffed yellow organza jacket over the top. She also wore white lace tights and black lace gloves—for some warmth, obviously. Her coat collection, though, also remains enviable.
Gray is in Milan for another set of shows, having walked in Paris and New York for Chanel and Michael Kors. On the first day of Milan Fashion Week, Gray walked for Dsquared2 in sheer, sequinned and feathered look that recalled the dramatic Bob Mackie silhouettes worn by Cher. The runway show marked the 30th anniversary of the brand, which also featured Irina Shayk, Naomi Campbell closing, and a performance by Doecchi.
