Anne Hathaway just snagged a piping hot look fresh off of the catwalk. The Academy Award winner attended the star-studded Albies—the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s awards ceremony honoring human rights defenders worldwide—in a Versace dress that made a splash at Milan Fashion Week.
A mere six days ago, German supermodel Claudia Schiffer returned to the runway in the very same dress, closing the stacked Versace spring 2024 show. Clearly, Hathaway s stylist Erin Walsh had just the person in mind to wear it when she saw it coming down the catwalk.
The actor wore a green and silver checkerboard patterned column dress made of chainmail mesh and adorned with beaded details. The dress is something of an ode to Versace, with silver Medusa ‘95 hardware on the straps and green lace details in the brand’s recognizable Baroque pattern. Hathaway also wore the same shoes that Schiffer walked the runway in: silver Gianni ribbon pumps.
It’s no surprise that the Bulgari ambassador would be decked out in pieces from the jewelry brand as well. Each of Hathaway’s wrists were wrapped in bracelets, including one of their emblematic snakes. While her wristwear drew the eye, she also donned several rings, earrings, and a necklace.
Hathaway kept her beauty look simple, but wore her hair in a slight bouffant—perhaps a nod to the ladylike styling on the Versace runway. Now we just have to wonder, who will wear this ensemble next?
