Looking for the best bachelorette party destinations? It’s certainly a search that’s happening more and more often these days. According to a 2023 survey from The Knot, a whopping 92% of bridal parties plan an overnight celebration. One in five attendees will take a plane to their destination. The average attendee spends $1,300 to take part in bachelorette parties. All these stats are just a small example of a larger trend of weddings becoming marathon occasions with multiple events spread over weeks—an optimistic reading of which means there’s simply more opportunity to celebrate with your nearest and dearest.
But where to go is a daunting question, especially as every bride has a different vision of what, exactly, they want their final send-off to be. For those looking to de-stress from wedding planning, a spa weekend may be on the agenda. Others may be looking to party the night away. Then there are people who want to, well, do both.
Below, we rounded up the best bachelorette party destinations for every type of bride—along with a vacation rental in each, because the right Airbnb can set the tone for the weekend.
Home to some of the country’s best skiing in the winter, and hiking in the summer, Aspen is the perfect destination for an adventurous bachelorette party. In the colder months, have a leisurely day on the slopes, or perhaps a spa day at Hotel Jerome. Then, come late afternoon, it’s time for après ski. Try to snag a 2:30 seating at Cloud Nine Alpine Bistro (open December through April), located slopeside on Aspen Highlands mountain. Trust us, it turns into quite the rowdy champagne-spraying party as the afternoon goes on. (Don’t worry, snowcats are available to those who maybe had a little too much fun at lunch.) Another fantastic option? The Snow Lodge, the snowy sister club to Montauk’s The Surf Lodge. In partnership with local music venue Belly Up, they bring the hottest musical acts to the base of Ajax Mountain during winter weekends. Last year, they also teamed up with one of the official best bars in the world, Dante, for their cozy, Bob Melet-designed restaurant. And don’t forget the Little Nell, the most famous post-ski spot in town. Want to go late into the night? Get a table at The Sterling, Aspen’s main nightclub…or catch a concert at Belly Up.

For a more catered-to hospitality stay, Sorrel River Ranch offers an array of custom-built cabins, from cozy six-person suites to a sprawling ranch house estate. The surreal desert landscape and hiking trails provide the backdrop for a myriad of outdoor activities, including kayaking, rock climbing, moonlit walks, and stargazing at nightfall. —Boutayna Chokrane

A classic bachelorette party destination for a reason, Las Vegas is the ultimate city to get up to no good. Our favorite agenda? A stay at the Wynn or Encore, with a dinner at their supper club Delilah. Then, tickets to an entertaining show— anything from Cirque du Soleil or Spiegelworld is usually a good bet, as is Dita Von Teese’s Burlesque Show. End your night at the casino of your choice…where you may or may not play some some slot machines. We won’t tell. —E.T.

Have a friend that gags at the thought of “Bride Tribe” tank tops or hot pink sashes? Choose a chic, urban locale like Los Angeles, a city where you can have a bachelorette, but there’s no industry built around them. Get a poolside cabana WeHo rooftop hotel, or perhaps rent a boat for a day in Marina del Rey. Head to a scene-y hotspot for lunch or dinner (Nobu Malibu, The Polo Lounge, and Elephante come to mind), and indulge in a little celeb-sighting. But don’t go up and say hi—your friend would be mortified. For late—and over-the-top night—book your group a table at Delilah. The next morning, work up a sweat by hiking in Will Rogers State Park.
Looking for some culture? Visit the LACMA, or make an appointment to see the Stahl House, which boasts the best views of the city. —E.T.

Sometimes you wanna drink at your bachelorette, but not drink drink. And get dressed up—not in crop-tops, but in a midi sundress or a sweater. Also, good food. Enter Napa Valley: our country’s most famous foodie destination, where Michelin starred restaurants sit among rolling (and award winning) vineyards. “You don’t come to Napa Valley to be the first. The region has been well-established for about as long as wine has been commercially produced in California. What you come here for is just about everything else—farm-to-table cuisine, prestigious wines, historic hot springs, and design-driven hotels," Vogue contributor Nicole Kliest writes in her guide to the region, which features an extensive breakdown of where to eat and drink. A house rental is likely your best bet for a large group. However, if you are working with a generous budget: Stanly Ranch is one of our favorite hotels in the region.
