After carrying around the viral Coach Brooklyn bag this summer, Bella Hadid has her sights set on a new tote.
The model was spotted out in Los Angeles carrying a black upcycled leather checkerboard tote bag from Coachtopia, Coach’s environmentally conscious offshoot. Hadid customized her bag by wrapping a colorful scarf around the crossbody strap. Who needs a twilly for their Hermès bag? This is the Chronically Online Birkin.
Hadid wore an all-black outfit for her outing. She opted for a pair of low-slung black bootcut jeans with a leather belt and square-toe heeled boots. She continued her leather-heavy look with a slim-fitting leather jacket, which she wore over an Intimissimi boatneck long-sleeve.
The Coach bag wasn’t the only noteworthy accessory; She turned to another standout addition for her eyewear. Hadid wore a pair of chunky black frames with ever-so-slightly tinted lenses. Last month, the model made her long-awaited return to the runway, walking in the Saint Laurent show in Paris, where she wore an oversized black suit and necktie, and a pair of thick eyeglasses. Perhaps she’s bringing that Paris runway inspiration to the streets of LA.
Whether she’s wearing her statement glasses or her checkerboard Coachtopia bag, Bella Hadid knows that the best way to add some intrigue to an all-black outfit is with some conversation-starting accessories.
