The Five Most Iconic Music Videos of Rosalías Career

The Five Most Iconic Music Videos of Rosalía’s Career (So Far)

Rosalía is many things—a singer, songwriter, fashion icon, bona fide pop star, Calvin Klein brand ambassador, and two-time Vogue cover girl among them—but perhaps above all else, she’s a performer. The Spanish mega-star’s music videos are all but guaranteed to go viral the second they drop, thanks in large part to her combination of sophisticated yet sexy lyricism, finely honed dance moves, and uncompromising creative vision (the ultimate X-factor; you can’t fake it if you don’t have it!).

In honor of Rosalía’s latest Vogue cover, here are the five music videos of hers that we can’t stop thinking about (or playing on a loop, for that matter):

“Malamente” (2018)

This hit from Rosalía’s second studio album, El Mal Querer, helped to cement the singer’s obsessed-over place in the public eye back in 2018. It’s an early example of the spooky, baroque, beautifully choreographed video aesthetic that would define much of her visuals to come. Also, has anyone ever looked so good in orange fur?

“Con Altura” ft. J Balvin and El Guincho (2019)

“With altitude,” indeed; this video was the most-watched one starring a female musician of 2019, quickly outpacing Ariana Grande’s video for “7 Rings.” Why isn’t J Balvin the pilot on more of my terrible, boring flights?

“La Fama” ft. The Weeknd (2022)

This electropop-bachata track had quite a journey from a TikTok teaser to a full-length video co-featuring The Weeknd, and watching a jewel-swathed Rosalía entrance a nightclub crowd (and, eventually, dramatically stab her counterpart…listen, girls have their reasons!) never gets old.

“Berghain” ft. Björk Yves Tumor (2025)

Nicolás Méndez, who directed the “Malamente” video way back in 2018, rejoined Rosalía for this recent hit, and the outcome is a weirdly beautiful composite of Rosalía surrounded by forest scenes, morphing animals, and a full-blown symphony orchestra. (Also, I badly want that claw-foot tub that appears at 2:04, but that’s beside the point.)

“La Perla” ft. Yahritza Y Su Esencia (2025)

I mean, where to begin with this one? The please-defeat-me-in-hand-to-hand-combat fencing ensemble! The flagrantly and fabulously visible chrome thong pulled up to hipbone height! The cheeky cig in the car! Not only is the song a certified bop, but the video is an absolute vibe.
