Dot Comme

If you didn’t get it, the vintage store Dot Comme winks to a certain designer—Comme des Garçons, of course. And that’s because store owner Octavius La Rosa has a collection of 3,500+ pieces of CDG–can you believe it? But this cult-favorite store in Melbourne had more than that—Junya Watanabe, Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto, and Walter Van Beirendonck. All of these pieces have been selected by La Rosa, who has been collecting since the age of 14. Everything is in museum-quality condition, and in the store, which looks straight out of 2001: A Space Odyssey, you’ll find collectible Memphis furniture adding to the ambiance.

After five years in an all-white gallery-type store, Reina has moved into a plushly carpeted location that offers a bit more charm.
