Blake Lively has decreed it Uggs weather. The actor and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, took a stroll in New York City the morning after Reynolds’s birthday wearing comfy-chic outfits.
Lively wore a monochromatic fit with a blue drawstring hoodie, medium wash jeans, and a navy trench coat, and carried her beloved royal blue Chanel quilted crossbody bag. But on her feet, Lively broke from her all-blue moment with a pair of chestnut platform mules—a collaboration between Ugg and Opening Ceremony, which reworked the Ugg Tasman style. The sleek leather slip on features an oversized buckle on the front of the shoe, a chunky 2-inch platform, and a shearling lining.
Reynolds also opted for a monochrome look in all gray. He wore a gray button-up jacket with two breast pockets and a popped collar, a pair of slim-fitting pants, and a gray beanie.
Lively isn’t the only celebrity to break out the Uggs recently. Lily-Rose Depp wore hers with a pair of low-slung jeans and an off-the-shoulder gray sweater; Emily Ratajkowski wore per platform Uggs with a red knit skirt; Cardi B styled hers with a neutral pair of brown pants, a white tank top and a tan patterned jacket. With this latest addition to the Ugg Brigade, we forecast a bountiful season of comfy footwear ahead.
