If you need more proof that the ‘90s are back, look no further than Calvin Klein Collection. Designer Francisco Costa reimagined the hits of the decade (and the 1920s, too) for his Spring 2016 show. Get the CliffsNotes below.
1. She might be a model, but Calvin Klein face Kendall Jenner took in the show from the front row, wearing an orange-red minidress designed by Costa.
2. Actresses Brie Larson and Zoë Kravitz finished out Calvin Klein’s front row.
3. As always, the show featured the newest of new models. Among this season’s fresh faces were opener Frida Westerlund, Hanne Linhares, Mathilde Brandi, and Laura Sørensen.
4. The first look out set the tone for the soigné collection, featuring a cream silk slip dress with straps dangling at the shoulder and an additional strap slipping down the model’s arm.
5. The rest of the collection played on that slightly off-kilter, deconstructed theme, a highlight being the unraveling knits that came in dress and sweater forms.
6. Costa and co. committed to one shoe shape to carry the whole show: a flatform sneaker in leather and fraying silk.
7. Three bags were featured on the catwalk, all adorned with hanging gold chains.
8. The chain motif carried into the collection, where several of the finale looks came complete with golden body jewelry.
9. The models were barefaced, with glowing skin, and hair was left down in their natural textures.
10. Patterns at Calvin Klein? You better believe it. A blurred floral in periwinkle and lilac tones adorned several pieces.
