Emily Ratajkowski is flexing hard. This morning, the model and author dropped her son, Sylvester, off at preschool in a look that mixes archival fashion with a modern must-have.
EmRata wore two pieces of monogrammed Dior from John Galliano’s spring 2004 collection. On top, she wore a light blue and navy jacket, which she left buttoned, save for one at the top and bottom. She kept the look cohesive with monogrammed bottoms, wearing ankle-length pink and red trotter pants.
While Ratajkowski rocked the nearly-20-year-old set, her shoes are a contemporary favorite: the Loewe ballerina sneaker in white and cream. The trainer’s sleek silhouette and subtle Loewe “L” embroidered on the side was a subtler approach to wearing a logo—much more quiet luxury as opposed to the rest of her outfit’s logomania. She completed the look with Miu Miu sunglasses.
Ratajkowski is a noted fan of Galliano’s Dior, particularly the monogrammed pieces. Ahead of Vogue World: London, she stepped out in a dress from the 2004 capsule collection. The brown, logo-printed spaghetti strap dress was complete with a red, green, and yellow band at the empire waist and the hem. And in September 2022, she pulled a Carrie Bradshaw by wearing Galliano’s newsprint dress from the Dior fall 2000 collection. But she doesn’t just collect the monogrammed clothes: she recently acquired a red long-sleeve minidress from spring 2003. With all this archival fashion in her possession, Emily Ratajkowski may as well add vintage collector to her already stacked resume.
