On Halloween, Emily Ratajkowski jumpstarted a new trend that we’re calling femme fatale fall. The author-actor stepped out on the autumnal New York City streets wearing a sultry all-black look composed of a turtleneck and a belted itty-bitty mini skirt, as well as a pair of thigh-high Khaite leather boots with a high heel that could function as a weapon. (Move over, Kill Bill!) To further drive home the vixen aesthetic, Ratajkowski opted for a bold red lip.
Ratajkowski’s assassin ensemble is incredibly sultry while still being understated. In fact, it feels like a new era for the author, who has often been the ambassador for crop tops. She’s now entering a new era of her style: first she bulked up her vintage collection and now she’s opted for the risqué but classic thigh-highs. And while we are unsure of whether or not Ratajkowski is wearing this outfit as a costume for some babe assassin, it’s definitely a dangerously stellar ensemble.
