Someone call Avril Lavigne because we’ve got a sk8er boi on our hands. Emily Ratajkowski was spotted strolling through the streets of New York City in what can only be described as “f-boy chic.”
The copper-haired model, author, and podcaster paired a midriff-baring white strapless crop top from Cotton On with baggy, knee-length EB Denim shorts (we re glad to see EmRata is a firm jorts supporter). A noted fan of Vans, she wore a pair of low-top black-and-blue Old Skools. She accessorized her masc look with some feminine touches, including a “Sylvester” nameplate necklace—a sweet ode to her 2-year-old son—and a Loewe leather shoulder bag with a jacquard anagram strap.
This isn t the first time Ratajkowski has dressed like she d offer to show you her kick flip. On a walk last month with her dog, Colombo, she tucked her hair into a Gucci cap and sported a white Cara Mia tank top, olive green cargo pants, and Salomon Xt-6 sneakers. Clearly a fan of the color palette, she also stepped out in an oversized t-shirt, cargo pants, and white tennis shoes just a few days prior.
The My Body author s personal style oscillates between high femme looks: sheer minidresses with visible thongs, bodycon looks, and low-cut halters; and the more masculine: baggy jeans, cargo pants, oversized t-shirts, and sneakers. (Get you a woman who can do both!) In the case of EmRata s skater boy looks, we never want to say “See you later, boy.”
