Prada isn’t scheduled to show in Milan until tomorrow, but Emma Watson is already out supporting the label. The actor, who recently made her directorial debut with a film for the brand’s fragrance, Paradoxe, arrived in the Italian fashion capital in a look that already has us excited to see what Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons have dreamed up this season.
Watson, a graduate of Brown University, appeared to channel the Ivy League-chic of her alma mater with her preppy outfit. She wore a white button down, which she left unbuttoned at the top, displaying a sliver of décolletage, which she tucked into a navy miniskirt embellished with two columns of gold buttons. Over her shoulders, she draped a white knit mock neck sweater. While there are a million ways to wear a sweater, Watson chose to leave the arms untied, letting them hang.
Keeping with the mostly white color palette, the Harry Potter star coordinated her slingback kitten heels and bag. The white patent leather shoes, complete with a pointed toe, feature a sweet fabric bow on the strap that holds the brand’s famous enamel inverted triangle logo in the center. She swapped out her sturdy backpack for a mini white Arqué bag, whose gold hardware tied in perfectly to the buttons on her skirt. But the cutest accompaniment of all had to be Watson’s beloved dog, Sofia, whom she adopted while in Mexico last year. The pup, Watson wrote on Instagram, “seems to be an angel not a dog.” Does Prada make dog collars?
