Now, Gigi Hadid is bringing the trend to California. In Malibu this week, the new-gen super stole the show in a head-to-toe Miu Miu ensemble. As the brand’s latest campaign star, she looked every bit the silver screen siren in a black form-fitting slip dress with camisole straps and a midi-length skirt. Gigi accessorized with black cat-eye shades and a white leather quilted top-handle bag with gold details. Adding a touch of geek chic to the outfit: a pair of black leather penny loafers and slouchy white knitted socks.
Gigi isn’t the only It-girl to incorporate loafers into her summer wardrobe. Hailey Bieber was recently seen wearing vintage jorts and a cropped Leset tee with Chanel loafers, while Kendall Jenner has been wearing a pair by The Row with tailored trousers, maxi skirts and the occasional pantless look.
