It seems major congratulations are in order, as Sinners actress Hailee Steinfeld and her NFL-star husband, Josh Allen—who announced their engagement in November 2024 and wed in California in May—announced on Friday that Steinfeld is pregnant with her first child.
Steinfeld took to Substack to break the news herself. Rounding up “29 moments I loved this year…in no particular order” in honor of her 29th birthday on Thursday, December 11, she ended the post with a joyful video of Allen kissing her exposed baby bump. The parents-to-be also shared their happy news in a joint Instagram post, with the same video panning out at the end to reveal them holding hands in front of a tiny and extremely adorable snowman.
Steinfeld has spoken publicly about wanting to start a family with her Buffalo Bills quarterback husband, telling Thessaly La Force in a recent Bustle profile that “Of course” she wanted kids.
“I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world,” Steinfeld said, adding: “Life makes sense. Everything makes sense.” Mazel tov to the happy soon-to-be trio!
