For Hailey Bieber, the 2025 Met Gala was just party—no business. Last night, the Rhode skin mogul riffed on the classic Saint Laurent tuxedo—and by that, we mean she wore just a tuxedo jacket.
Bieber styled her black double-breasted grain de poudre blazer with a white silk pocket square, a pair of sheer tights with the YSL logo embellished with rhinestones, and towering peep-toe platform stilettos in black patent leather. She added a heap of statement-making jewelry, including a 25-carat diamond necklace from Tiffany Co. with an enormous rectangular diamond pendant, pear-drop earrings, and a demure Audemars Piguet cocktail watch. When she left the Mark Hotel, Bieber accessorized with a more ephemeral accessory: a dirty martini. (However, it didn’t make its way to the red carpet.)
Bieber first attended the Met Gala in 2015 for “China: Through the Looking Glass” in a blue Topshop minidress. But, as a longtime friend of Anthony Vaccarello, she has attended her last two Mets with Saint Laurent. (Tonight marks her third consecutive appearance wearing the French house.)
Bieber has been embracing suiting in her wardrobe outside of the Met Gala. In October, she donned one of the label’s spring 2025 suits—necktie included—for a date night with husband Justin Bieber. But she’s also added more feminine skirt suits to her closet, including a festive red velvet Saint Laurent number that she wore around the holidays and a pin-striped vintage Mugler look. But last night, Bieber offered a new take on suiting in her Saint Laurent jacket.
