Summer is just around the corner, and Hailey Bieber is already leaning into the biggest swimwear trend of the season. Back to basics is the byword in bikinis for 2024–think tiny, minimalist suits in bold colors. Exhibit A: the cherry-red string design worn by Bieber in a recent Instagram photo, taken on vacation in a location that’s doing a good approximation of paradise. (Our guess is Barbados, where the Rhode founder rang in the New Year.)
The suit comes courtesy of Tropic of C. Founded by former Victoria’s Secret angel Candice Swanepoel, the label has become something of a signature for Mrs Bieber, whose worn its barely-there designs everywhere from the South of France to the Hamptons over the years. Among its other celebrity fans? Sofia Richie, Bella Hadid and Kaia Gerber.
On this occasion, Bieber paired the Equator Top and Praia Bottoms in a poppy shade with matching wraparound sunnies by Bru, adding a cowboy hat from Australian label Lack of Colour. Confirmed horse girl Bella, for one, would approve.
