As a top fashion personality and stylist to the stars (for celebrities such as Zendaya and Céline Dion), you could say that Law Roach leads a busy life—and the inside of his bag always reflects this. Sitting down with Vogue, Roach shared what he carts around in his day-to-day schedule—and judging by his eclectic mix of must-haves, he is truly ready for anything at all times. What’s in his custom Birkin bag with rose-gold hardware, you ask? Everything from chips and Chanel lip balm to high-tech glasses and luxurious perfumes.
Of course, Roach had to start the video with the bag itself. He discussed his love for collecting Hermès Birkins, quipping, “I don’t have many vices. I don’t drink a lot, I don’t do drugs—I buy Birkins.” Roach then proceeded to pull out his list of daily essentials. He has not one but two work phones: one for emails, one for research. Both bear an M wallpaper that holds a special meaning. “It represents, in my mind, $100 million,” says Roach. “That is my goal to have so that I can really retire and disappear—so that you can never see or hear from me again.” (He did, after all, retire as a stylist in 2023, only to come back full force.)
His other tech must-haves include a Dell laptop (“I’m obsessed with checking my credit score,” he says), a variety of headphones—from wired to wireless—and even a seriously futuristic pair of Meta Ray-Bans. More lo-fi? The physical books he carts around. Roach is currently reading two: Raising Brows by Anastasia Soare and his own book, How to Build a Fashion Icon. “I wanted you to think it’s about styling tips, but it’s not,” Roach says of his book. “It’s about how when you find your confidence, you can do whatever you want to do.”
His snack obsessions, meanwhile, include Ruffles chips—cheddar cheese and sour cream flavors. “I like to eat it with caviar,” he admits. “It’s now on my rider.” Roach’s beauty essentials include everything from Chanel lip balm to Byredo and Tom Ford fragrances and even a bedazzled tube of Vaseline cocoa butter. His latest style fixation? A pair of Tom Ford–esque glasses that he got from TikTok Shop. His accessories game is always fabulous, no matter what the price point is—and he certainly realizes this. “My estate sale is going to be fucking amazing,” he jokes. “I’m doing this for you, really.”
