Leave it to Jennifer Lawrence to look put together—even en route to her workout.
The actor was spotted walking to the gym in New York wearing quotidian gym attire—cropped Alo leggings and Grizzly Grey slides with a cork platform. But the rest of her outfit was pure Old Hollywood glamour.
Lawrence bundled up in a chocolate brown robe coat, which she cinched at the waist. She also shielded herself with what my colleague across the pond called her “anti-paparazzi” look. For today’s pap shield, the actor opted for oversized sunglasses (in this case, square tortoiseshells with sepia lenses from Bottega Veneta) and a dark gray scarf draped over her head.
The combo looks like something we’d expect to see on Hollywood starlets of yore: Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly. But Lawrence looks equally at home in the look. She’s been a strong proponent for scarves as headwear recently. In Paris she tried out the aforementioned “anti-paparazzi” look: a black scarf and enormous black shades. On the same trip, she wore a Babushka-esque Dior silk scarf fastened under her chin.
With her latest sartorial M.O., Jennifer Lawrence is proving that, not only can going to the gym be fashionable, but so can hiding from the paparazzi.
