A style star is born!
This awards season, Succession star Jeremy Strong has been taking the red carpets by storm. (Who would have predicted that Kendall Roy would become a fashion icon?). It all started back at the 2025 Golden Globes, when Strong hit the step and repeat in a delightfully offbeat outfit: He donned a teal-colored velvet Loro Piana suit, complete with the matching bucket hat. While the Italian luxury brand is typically known for its stealth-wealth designs (and outfitted many Succession characters in its luxurious knits), there was nothing subtle about his eye-popping outfit; Strong was clearly dressed to be noticed, especially in a sea of classic black tuxedos that the men of Hollywood love to favor.
Strong’s flair for the unexpected continued on at the SAG Awards this past weekend. Continuing with his love of a monochromatic look, Strong sported a custom Haans Nicholas Mott suit in dusty green with satin shawl lapels, a high-neckline shirt, and a discrete bowtie. Yet again, this was not your traditional two-piece; the star has a penchant for picking the most unlikeliest of shades, and transferring them over into evening attire. (Wearing Haans is also an interesting move, given the brand keeps a low profile and has no social media.)
The actor’s love of an off-kilter look has us wondering: What will Strong rock next? If the star is going to break out yet another bold fashion moment, would he not be saving the best for last, at the Oscars? Feeling inspired, we brainstormed some potential looks that Strong could pull from the fall 2025 runways for the grand occasion. What made the list? Think unconventional suiting styles like a shaggy Sacai suit, a puffer-material Yohji two-piece, and a Willy Chavarria blazer in his favorite hue—green, of course.
