Kaia Gerber and Jeremy Allen White share more than a mutual friend in Ayo Edebiri. Despite the 3,000 miles between them, the model and The Bear star displayed the same stroke of sartorial inspiration this morning when they laced up their Bode x Nike Astro Grabbers.
The actor wore his black sneakers with white accents for a family outing to his local farmer’s market in Los Angeles. White paired his sneaks with a timeless outfit: a pair of slim-fitting, raw-hemmed blue jeans, a white tank top, and a white short-sleeve button-up. Gerber, similarly, braved the New York heatwave in a comfortable, neutral outfit: a black form-fitting tank top worn with navy blue elastic-waist pants, and black oval sunglasses—her hair held up in a tortoiseshell claw clip.
This isn’t Gerber’s first time flexing the hard-to-get shoe. She first wore the sporty sneaker before its release in April. But now that the weather has warmed up, the model proves that the Astro Grabbers are a versatile part of her wardrobe, whether paired with a coat or a crop top.
Gerber and White aren’t the only celebrities rocking the sought-after Bode Nikes. Shortly before the shoes became available to the masses, Katie Holmes strolled through the streets of New York in the white colorway. Unlike her pared-back contemporaries, Holmes wore her sneakers with a pair of embellished Isabelle Marant jeans.
