Paris Fashion Week is officially underway, and Kendall Jenner is hitting the ground running. The model kicked off her week with a L’Oréal event, where she opted for one of our favorite fall layering tricks: the skant.
Jenner wore a sheer olive-colored silk cami with a sweetheart neckline and a matching midi skirt from St. Agni. While the see-through look is definitely more geared toward a night out, Jenner made it suitable for the daytime thanks to her styling. Over her top, she added a sleek black coat, while on the bottom, she wore her diaphanous skirt over a pair of black trousers. She finished the look with a pair of black leather flats and rectangular sunglasses.
The model isn’t afraid of a bold layering look. In February 2024, she wore a navy blue KNWLS dress over matching flared pants in Miami.
While Jenner’s styling leaned more noughties (think: Disney Channel red carpets of yore, with dresses over jeans), other celebrities have embraced the skant as a singular piece. Both Kaia Gerber and Jennifer Lawrence own skants from Paloma Wool—Lawrence’s a breezy navy midi over gauzy pants; Gerber’s a low-slung gray mini attached to straight-legged trousers.
Be it Kendall Jenner’s separates or celebrity-approved Paloma Wool pieces, we’re eagerly awaiting a skant-forward fall.
