Earlier today, Lauren Sánchez was captured by photographers leaving the Aman Venice on her wedding day in an all-white Dior set with black sunglasses and an Hermès crocodile Kelly. But the most interesting part wasn’t what was on her body—but instead, what was on her head.
The former television presenter wore the distinct “Brides de Gala en Fleurs” headscarf by Hermès. The silk creation’s floral-and-equestrian motif includes forget-me-nots, hibiscus and anemones, as well as blueberries and fig trees—as well as the phrase “Brides de Gala en Fleurs” written in delicate script.
It’s a high-end and clear statement for Sánchez, who is set to marry Jeff Bezos imminently—she is the bride and is declaring it as such. In addition to the literal word of “brides,” forget-me-nots are also a flower well associated with weddings, as they symbolize love and remembrance. Anemones, too, are a popular choice for wedding bouquets, as they are often associated with sincerity.
The Dior suit paired with the Hermès is also just her latest notable bridal fashion choice. Last night, she attended a welcome dinner in a Schiaparelli couture dress, complete with a gold-bugle beaded corset bodice and floral embroidery. (The dress is notably look 30 in Daniel Roseberry’s Spring 2025 Couture collection.) She posted an Instagram of the look with a simple white heart emoji. On Wednesday, she wore an Alexander McQueen dress from 2003 sourced by Tab Vintage, complete with mother-of-pearl buttons. And, of course, there’s her wedding dress—a Dolce Gabanna lace gown that Vogue attended the final fittings for.
Although it is not just the bride herself embracing designer fashions. Kylie and Kendall Jenner, for example, wore vintage Roberto Cavalli and Dolce Gabbana to last night’s welcome dinner. And, as the wedding weekend only reaches more of a fever pitch, more high-profile celebrity looks are to come.
