It’s been eight years since Meghan Markle’s last acting role; her breakout part in Suits saw her play paralegal Rachel Zane across nine seasons, right from the very start until 2017. Markle left the series when she got engaged to Prince Harry and subsequently took up royal duties. Now, she’s set to return to the screen in a forthcoming movie.

As reported by Variety, the Duchess of Sussex will make a cameo as herself in Close Personal Friends, a film which stars Lily Collins, Brie Larson, Jack Quaid, and Henry Golding. The comedy is currently shooting in Los Angeles. She was seen on set this week in Pasadena.

Close Personal Friends is directed by Jason Orley (who wrote and directed the Pete Davidson coming-of-age film Big Time Adolescence) and reportedly centers on a “regular” couple that meets a celebrity couple on a trip to Santa Barbara. When the two couples become fast friends, lines are crossed and awkwardness ensues.

“It’s a new chapter, right?” Meghan told Page Six of her decision to leave acting for royal life in 2017. “I’ve ticked this box, and I feel very proud of the work I’ve done there, and now it’s time to work with [Harry] as a team.” Her other acting credits have included movies like Horrible Bosses and Remember Me.

In August, Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Productions extended their Netflix partnership, under which they’ve produced Polo, Harry Meghan, Heart of Invictus, and Live to Lead. The second season of Markle’s lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, dropped over the summer—with a special holiday episode coming to Netflix in December.
