You may have heard of “Bring Your Child to Work Day,” but Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts, and Maya Rudolph would like to raise you “Bring Your Child to Couture Week."
The three actors hit the Balenciaga fall 2024 couture show in Paris, offspring in tow. Kidman’s plus-one was her 15-year-old daughter Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban. With their ash blonde hair, skintight black ensembles, and square black sunnies, the mother-daughter duo looked like mirror images. (Though, while Kidman opted for a short-sleeved sparkly number, Sunday Rose braved the Paris heat in a velvet long-sleeved mock neck minidress.)
While the Kidman-Urbans opted for a more matchy-matchy take on family styling, Watts and 15-year-old Kai Schreiber went for high-contrast looks. Watts channeled her inner Swan in a structural white skirt suit with sharp, gravity-defying shoulders, which she accessorized with white gloves, pearl drop earrings, black sunglasses, and black pointy-toe pumps. Kai leaned into black, wearing a lacy V-neck long-sleeve over a black bra with a calf-length black skirt. While the two didn’t twin, Kai took similar styling cues with dangling earrings, dark sunnies, and pointed toes.

Rudolph and her 18-year-old daughter Pearl Anderson rounded out Demna’s collection of dynamic duos. The comedian went the colorful route in a multi-shade blue silk midi dress with flared sleeves, which she decked out with sparkling chandelier earrings. Pearl, meanwhile, chose a Balenciaga classic: a long-sleeved black maxi dress complete with a mock neck. Despite the diametrically opposed outfits, Pearl looked the spitting image of her mother.
With Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts, and Maya Rudolph proudly parading their brood at Balenciaga couture, we can’t help but wish every fashion show was a family affair.
