It wouldn t be a royal wedding without Her Majesty. Queen Elizabeth II, alongside husband Prince Philip, attended the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at St. George s Chapel today, where she chose to wear one of her signature bright colors: Pea green. The event proved to be a full-circle style moment for the Queen, who leant Markle the Order of Splendor tiara that was once worn by Queen Mary.
Choosing a design by her go-to dressmaker Stewart Parvin, Her Majesty wore a matching topcoat and skirt in the sprightly green hue. She also wore a matching green topper hat, which was accentuated with purple feathers for dramatic effect. As she so often does, she accessorized the ensemble with pristine white gloves, a brooch, and a simple black top-handle bag and pumps.
