Sports fans, get ready: The Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 are on their way! From February 6 to 22, top athletes will go for gold in alpine skiing, bobsledding, curling, figure skating, ice hockey, ski jumping, snowboarding, and more across Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy—and while their intensive training and formidable skill will be paramount in competition, how they look plays a part too. They will be representing their country, after all.
Happily, no less an American style authority than Ralph Lauren has dressed Team USA’s Olympic and Paralympic athletes for going on 20 years now—and today we’re getting the first look at their official opening and closing ceremony parade uniforms.
The team’s opening ceremony uniforms feature a white wool coat with wooden toggles, an American flag intarsia wool turtleneck sweater, and tailored wool trousers. The closing ceremony look features a color-block puffer jacket, a wool turtleneck sweater, and white utility pants. Accessories include red, white, and blue intarsia knit mittens, as well as a leather belt and brown suede alpine boots with red laces. All of the pieces are made in the US.
“Ralph Lauren has had the immense privilege of outfitting Team USA for nearly 20 years, and the significance and sheer magnitude of dressing our nation’s incredible athletes—on the most dramatic stage in sport as they pursue their lifelong dreams—is an honor that never fades,” says David Lauren, Ralph Lauren’s chief branding and innovation officer, in a release. “Our design philosophy has always been about creating dreams and telling stories through style, and these uniforms, both timeless and modern, reflect the passion, optimism, and relentless pursuit of excellence that embody the American spirit.”
Lauren tapped several leading Team USA athletes to model the uniforms, including ice dancers Evan Bates and Madison Chock, speed skater Erin Jackson, and snowboarders Brenna Huckaby and Red Gerard. For all of them, these last few weeks before the Games are critical.
“I’ve been doing a lot of training, spending a lot of time over in Europe pretty close to where we’ll be competing in Milan,” says Gerard. “Trying to get better snowboarding but in a safe way without getting hurt before the Olympics!”
“I’m feeling pretty confident going into these Games,” says Huckaby, a two-time Paralympian. “I know I have to be 110% to have a shot at being on the podium—but I think I can do it.”
In addition to the formal uniforms that Team USA will wear on the global stage, Ralph Lauren has also designed a broader Team USA collection, with pieces that fans can buy to channel the team’s energy. “With Milan—one of the great fashion capitals—as this year’s backdrop, we sought to honor the city’s creative spirit while staying true to the enduring style that defines Ralph Lauren,” says David Lauren. Pieces in the line—again in shades of red, white, and blue—reflect both the sporty vibe of the Olympics and the cozy, all-American luxury for which the brand is known.
Pieces in the collection—which come in adult and children’s sizes—range in price from $25 for small accessories to $3,498 for higher-end outerwear. Highlights include a leather shearling jacket embroidered with Team USA graphics, as well as chunky cable-knit sweaters, techy anoraks, fleece jackets, and cozy knit beanies.
Ralph Lauren’s 2026 Team USA collection is available for purchase today at select Ralph Lauren stores across the US, as well as online and in select department stores. Should you be headed to Milan for the Winter Olympics yourself, attendees will also have the opportunity to shop the line at a special pop-up shop at the Rosapetra Hotel in Cortina d’Ampezzo.
