The 2025 Met Gala red carpet was the place that Rihanna decided to announce her third pregnancy with partner A$AP Rocky. And as fashionable as her pregnancy announcements are, her maternity style knows no bounds.
Since landing into France for the Cannes Film Festival, Rihanna continues to cultivate a show-stopping, daring maternity style. The star stepped out with A$AP for dinner at Grande restaurant at Palm Beach, wearing a one-shoulder, ribbed jersey gown by Brandon Maxwell. The clingy black dress featured a dramatic torso slash and a high leg slit. She kept accessories simple, with a black Alaïa bag with gold hardware, a gold cuff, and her long, blown out hair pulled back in a black headband. Flanked by Rocky, the rapper complemented her look in a sharp black suit.
Later, the pair were photographed posing under a bridge on the Croisette in Ray-Ban sunglasses. (Rocky is the brand’s recently appointed creative director).
The superstar was out at Cannes, of course, to support her partner who stars in the latest Spike Lee film Highest 2 Lowest with Denzel Washington. Despite the rain on the red carpet earlier, Rihanna made a big splash in a brilliantly blue body-con Alaïa gown with cut-outs and matching stilettos. The slashed torso is proving a pregnant Rih-favorite.
