Congratulations are in order for Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, who are now officially married. The couple, who became engaged in December 2024 after a year of dating, said “I do” today in Santa Barbara.

The bride wore a custom hand-draped halter-neck satin dress with embroidery—and a small bouquet of lily of the valley—while the groom opted for a black tuxedo. Both were dressed by Ralph Lauren. Gomez’s platinum-and-diamond earrings were by Tiffany Co. In a set of photos by photographer and longtime collaborator and friend Petra Collins, Gomez showed off the dress’s low, wrapped back and hourglass silhouette, fanning out her flowing silk skirt and long train.
Selena Gomez, styled by Erin Walsh, has long been a lover of Ralph Lauren’s classic evening gowns; she attended the 97th Academy Awards in a custom, iridescent satin dress. While there was much speculation over her dress designer—in recent years, her other red carpet looks have ranged from powder blue Prada to cherry-red, bow-waisted Oscar de la Renta—the sophisticated and timeless Lauren design hit the mark. The feminine neckline, romantic shape, and sweet appliqués all speak totally to Gomez’s style.
On the Rare Beauty founder’s bridal glam: her go-to nail artist Tom Bachik created another “toasted mani” that’s become something of a trend among this season’s brides, while hairstylist Renato Campora gave Gomez a sleek, coiffed, old Hollywood-esque bob.
The weekend affair kicked off with a rehearsal dinner on Friday evening at a mansion in the private community of Hope Ranch in Santa Barbara County, nestled among the foothills of the Santa Ynez Mountains.
The ceremony itself took place at the lush Sea Crest Nursery, in front of around 170 of the couple’s family and friends (and staffed with extra security). Large white tents were erected at the site for eating, dancing, and celebrating throughout the night.

Guests included Gomez’s longtime friend Taylor Swift, as well as Paul Rudd and her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin. Paris Hilton, Ed Sheeran, Ashley Park, and Gomez’s Wizards of Waverly Place co-star David Henrie were also present. Gomez previously told Drew Barrymore on The Drew Barrymore Show that “Marty [Short] is due to give a speech,” while “Steve [Martin] will probably pull out his banjo”—although that hasn’t been confirmed just yet.

Gomez and Blanco first publicly confirmed their romance back in December 2023. Professionally, however, they go way back with their pop hits: Blanco produced Gomez’s “Same Old Love” and “Kill Em with Kindness” in 2015 and “Trust Nobody” in 2016. Their next major collaboration was on the 2019 song “I Can’t Get Enough” with J Balvin and Tainy. In 2023, Blanco also produced her single “Single Soon.” Earlier this year, they dropped a collaborative album, I Said I Love You First, followed by a deluxe version, I Said I Love You First... and You Said It Back.
The couple’s engagement announcement—and subsequent ring reveal—helped to propel the marquise ring as the new it-band; Gomez’s is a six-carat marquise-shaped diamond engagement ring with a pavé band. At the end of August, Gomez took her closest girlfriends to Cabo, Mexico for her bachelorette, while Blanco absconded to Vegas.
