Last week, Sienna Miller arrived at a New York fashion event dressed in men’s denim and an Adidas bucket hat. She looked like she was navigating the crowds at an Oasis gig, and so I interpreted the outfit as an emphatic rejection of the all-too-obvious sequins and velvet that will proliferate as party season takes hold. (So much for the Studio 54-inspired collection she’s selling at Marks and Spencer.)
So casual was Miller’s turn–Calvin Klein boxers poking out from the waistband of her jeans, sleeves rolled up to the elbows in a tomboyish gesture–that her boyfriend, Oli Green, was inspired to recreate the look. He was two days later photographed in the same, cream-colored Frame jacket while strolling through Rose Hill in New York. Sienna walked beside him in some high-waisted Max Mara tailoring that I am certain I have seen my colleagues at GQ wearing around the office. Those men adore high-waisted trousers.

Green and Miller met at a Halloween party thrown by a mutual friend in 2021, and, in true Hollywood fashion, were accompanied by the actress Emily Blunt on a date not long afterward. “I see so much of her in him,” Blunt said of Green in Miller’s December 2023 interview with Vogue. “In that free-spirited, curious, guileless thing that he has. He’s the kind of guy you could just bring anywhere, and everyone would love him.” The couple welcomed their first child in January 2024, their horizons–and closets–converging as their love blossomed. Expect to see them in bucket hats at the Oasis reunion in 2025.
