Halloween might be over, but the residents of Hawkins are still embracing spooky style.
The Stranger Things season five premiere in Los Angeles last night (November 6) saw all the stars present: Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, Sadie Sink, Maya Hawke, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Finn Wolfhard, Charlie Heaton, and more. Fashion was gothic and ethereal, reveling in reds and black silks, animal prints, and a hell of a lot of leather.
“I’m wearing custom Rodarte for the funeral of the show,” Millie Bobby Brown said on the red carpet. The recent British Vogue cover star, styled by Ryan Young, wore a custom Rodarte gown with metallic and sheer tulle detailing, black feathers dramatically lining the bust and silhouette to fall into a beaded train. With silver Chopard earrings and rings and stacked Aldo chain heels, it was sensual, dark, and romantic. She walked the carpet with her husband, Jake Bongiovi, who wore a burned red velvet suit.
Winona Ryder wore a striking Yohji Yamamoto spring summer 1998 set: a black tailored top with a structured bodice, sculpted sleeves, and a delicate hip flare, with a gathered matching skirt. Styled by Erica Cloud, Ryder’s exquisite set was sourced by vintage couture expert dealer (and celebrity favorite) Timeless Vixen, who acquired the set from “a fashionista living in Beverly Hills.”
“She had the Yohji set in her collection for years and believe it or not, it was still unworn with original tags. I told her I would love for Timeless Vixen to showcase how important this piece is,” says T.V.’s Lauren Lepire.
Ryder walked the red carpet with her longtime boyfriend, Scott Mackinlay Hahn, who followed her lead in a sharp, all-black suit.
Natalia Dyer—styled by Brad Goreski—went decidedly vampy in Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood, wearing a draped, backless, blood red gown that gathered at the waist and which fell into a dramatic slit and sheer train, a black ribbon encircling the shoulder and hip. Ruffled red underwear peeked out from underneath the see-through skirt. Cara Buono also opted for red, in a snake print corset and skirt with a ragged hem and fishtail skirt, embossed boots to match.
Priah Ferguson was styled by Enrique Melendez; the sensual style maven behind Jenna Ortega’s gloriously gothic glam. She wore Albanian designer Alisa Dudaj; a high-necked, black beaded and embroidered sheer crop top with more sheer panelling, and a pinstripe black and red skirt. Amybeth McNulty followed a similar sartorial rhythm in a plunging black silk dress.
Sadie Sink and Maya Hawke, meanwhile, kept up their penchants for Prada. Hawke opted for a sheer green dress with a high neckline and delicate, wispy fabriced train and black undergarments. Sink, styled by Molly Dickson, went custom in a white embellished two-piece which featured an embroidered crop top and high waisted, close -itting silk skirt.
For the men, it was a standout night for Caleb McLaughlin, who wore a fall 2025 Wales Bonner look, with a fitted military-slash-tuxedo style black jacket and black suit trousers with sporty red stripes. A strong and considered look for the actor, wearing the eponymous label of the recently announced new creative director for Hermés menswear.
Jamie Campbell Bower looked distinctly Vecna-coded in a custom Ann Demeulemeester look, made by Stefano Gallici. The look consisted of a slouchy viscose calico jacket—its sleeve embroidered with the statement “I saw your wishes and knew they had to be lies,” a fragment of Campbell Bower’s own writing—a washed silk satin blouse, and leather pleated kilt (which also featured his verses written on the back), which he paired with stompy combat boots. Campbell Bower has been wearing these romantically minimal Ann Demeulemeester looks through the press tour, acting as one of Gallici’s ongoing muses, and collaborating on all the more personal, poetic outfits.
Joe Keery was dressed by stylist Chloe Hartstein in full Gucci spring 2026 by Demna: a tight black leather jacket and low rise black pants with the house’s iconic horsebit on the belt and pockets, with matching loafers. Noah Schnapp opted for a pinstripe Balmain suit with a belt cinching the waist, and Finn Wolfhard wore an all-black suit with slashes of red plait.
The fifth season of the Duffer brothers’s cultural phenom arrives on Netflix three drops—the first portion on November 26, the second part on Christmas Day, and the finale on New Year’s Eve.
For their last adventure, the Stranger Things cast definitely brought their very best.
