SZA’s not really one for all of the traditional trappings of feminine dressing—she’s more likely to sport camo pants, baggy T-shirts, and comfy sweatshirts than she is to wear a frilly dress or a delicate blouse. But that doesn’t mean that she hasn’t dabbled in girly girl fashion. In her “Supermodel” video, one of the highlights from her debut studio album Ctrl, she struts in fluffy black heels and a negligee fit for a Victoria’s Secret Angel.
And now that she’s back on tour after her lush Hawaiian getaway, she’s yet again putting aside her boyish yet sexy aesthetic in favor of something a little more delicate. In a new Instagram, she appears in a pastel-color, off-the-shoulder dress that exudes a certain springtime freshness. And lest you forget that it’s SZA that we’re dealing with here, she finishes the look with a pair of Converse sneakers and a baseball cap. So while she seems to be embracing some more classically feminine styles, she, of course, polishes it off with that tomboy charm that we’ve come to know and love.
