Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s recent date nights have taken them from the hockey arenas of Florida to a friend’s recent wedding. But summer back in New York, amid the fug of the city, requires a return to a tested and true formula.
Photographed yesterday evening (June 20), Swift and Kelce headed out for a Michelin-starred meal at Torrisi in New York, a hard to get a res, high concept Italian restaurant. The couple have spent some time away from the city—Kelce has been in pre-season training mode and they’ve been hanging out in Florida—but it was a return to form for the pair, who have a penchant for Italian cuisine and buzzy NYC spots, from Del Frisco’s Grille to pizzeria Lucali and the beloved West Village Waverly Inn. It was also a reunion for the couple: Kelce and his brother Jason traveled to Cannes to take party in the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, where they discussed their podcast New Heights on stage.
Swift gave her usual date night dressing formula a bit of a summer update with some of her go-to brands, too. She wore the Reformation Seren top, a scoop neck corset in a sweet cornflower blue and a pale pink poplin mini-skirt by Miu Miu. She styled her look with the cream Mansur Gavriel mini cloud cross body bag (that’s been a fixture in her wardrobe), and Le Silla 120mm Bella pumps in a similar creamy tone. Jewelry was also a key to her look: She wore the a diamond watch by Cartier, and layered FoundRae’s opal necklace and gold chains, with a bow and arrow pendant. Swift kept her signature red lip, and wore her hair long and loose with a thick set of bangs.
Kelce also summered up his style for the evening: The Kansas City Chiefs player wore a pale blue and navy collared U.S. soccer polo shirt, with white linen bermuda shorts, white sneakers, and white socks.
Their most recently photographed date night saw the couple opt for something much more casual, with both wearing their own stylistic iterations of sweatsuits in the shades of the NHL Florida Panthers colors. Swift wore a beige and crystal-studded track jacket and pull-on shorts by Area—another go-to Swift brand—as well as her trusty beige Prada heeled ankle boots, and a large black monogrammed Chanel bucket bag. Kelce wore his own bright red long sleeve and shirts sweatsuit, with a white and red cap. Yesterday evening’s attire was much more airy, summer in the city spirited.
Kelce is staring down the forthcoming NFL season, kicking off from September. While Swift—and her many, many looks—were a regular enough fixture at his games last season, now she’s totally wrapped her mammoth Eras tour, it’s likely we’ll be seeing even more of her at the games. As summer heats up, the Taylor Swift WAG 2.0 era is cooking too. Expect more Chanel accessories, sporty and sparkly Area sets, and Swiftian twists on Chiefs merch to come.
