After their first post-engagement pap walk, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stepped out again in New York City for their second date night of the week, embracing the fall-ready facets of their personal style.
The couple—who got engaged in August—were photographed last night (November 6) heading to private members club Zero Bond. Swift relied on her longtime favorite label, Louis Vuitton, for her look, wearing a black twisted-collar knit pullover, a textured wrap mini skirt, knee-high leather kitten-heel boots, and a gold-chained Coussin shoulder bag with the house monogram print. Other accessories were kept super simple: some bracelets, a Petite Moments gold metal hair clip, and her old mine-cut engagement ring. The tights were the statement-making piece: a pair of black, rose-embroidered pantyhose from Fleur du Mal. She wore her hair in a long braid and a signature red lip.
In the Taylor Swift style universe, a statement tight is among her more strategically employed calling cards. On her mammoth Eras tour, she relied on the high-sheen, showgirl-fave sheer stocking under her bejeweled bodysuits—a tight that you should think of more like athletic apparel, tapped by Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, and other star performers. In day-to-day, Swift has worn red tights to cheer on the Chiefs and fun Folklore-ish patterned numbers under miniskirts and check sets.
Kelce, hand-in-hand with the Life of a Showgirl singer, wore a burgundy suede bomber jacket and matching loose trousers, with a simple black tee, gold chains around his neck, and black boots.
It’s bye week for the Kansas City Chiefs, and Swift has decidedly wound down her latest album promo: that means more time for date night. The previous evening, the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce couples style compendium had its most matchy-matchy addition yet, with an evening at Polo Bar. Swift’s outfit stayed true to her long-established formula with whimsical Swiftie details; a black bateau neck bodysuit by Alaïa, Stella McCartney suit pants, and an Eiffel Tower–emblazoned Jimmy Choo x Jean Paul Gaultier wedges. Kelce opted for a Fear of God black knit and his own pleated pants. Keeping the same sartorial rhythm seems to be the name of the game for the couple right now.
While date night’s fiancée-fiancé fashion will be put on hold when NFL season picks up again, there might be a return to the Arrowhead Stadium catwalk for Swift if she shows up to cheer on Kelce again. In her sporadic appearances at the Chiefs games, Swift has ardently worn team colors, mixing high and low fashion moments (from Vivienne Westwood corsets to Charlotte Simone coats and Chanel bucket hats) with Easter egg details (a custom 87 necklace, referring to Kelce’s shirt number).
But Swift and Kelce still have the weekend before he returns to training and game days—might they have time for a night at Minetta Tavern, or Del Frisco’s Grille?
