I love to be comfortable and wear a lot of color. Even though I spend most of my days in my apartment on Zoom, I still try to have fun with my look but keep it casual. Throughout this time working from home, I’ve definitely noticed I feel better when I actually get up earlier and spend more time getting ready before a day of virtual meetings.
I’ve always gravitated towards lots of colors and prints. Even if I’m inside most of the day, I still try to keep my look true to me, so I still like to wear anything bright and fun.
I’m all about comfort in what I wear, so I’ll always choose a sneaker over a sandal or heel. Comfort is always the most important thing for me; what I wear at home, I’ll most likely wear if I’m going out. So here’s a glimpse into my comfortable but colorful week.
Monday
My day starts very early on Monday, so I tend to keep it relaxed and comfortable. I normally throw on a tee, sweatpants, and put my hair up. I love jewelry, so I’m always putting on a few necklaces and lots of earrings and rings. Then I’ll make some coffee, and it’s back-to-back Zoom meetings most of the day.
Tuesday
It was a nice day, so I threw on a crop top, some printed pants and went to hang out on a friend’s roof after. La Manso has a lot of fun rings that I like to pile on. The Nike x Sacai sneakers are my favorite pair of shoes I own, so I wear them most days!
Wednesday
It was especially hot this day, so I tried to keep cool with a sheer top and funky skirt. I’m not into carrying purses or bags, so I normally stuff everything into my pockets. But on the rare days when I don’t have any pockets, the small Telfar shopping bag is an easy addition that isn’t too big or annoying to carry around. I usually just have my phone, wallet, and lip gloss that all easily fit inside.
Thursday
I have a lot of plain tees that definitely get boring after a while. This Phlemuns backless tee is the perfect option when I want to keep my look simple but still fun. It’s challenging to find pants that are long enough, but Dickies has great options and lots of pockets to stuff my phone and wallet in and head out the door.
Friday
Summer Fridays are coming to an end soon, so I’m trying to enjoy them as much as I can. I met up with a few friends on Governors Island for drinks and oysters. I always try to wear a hat when I know I’m going to be outside for an extended period of time and bucket hats are my go-to. So I threw this Jacquemus one on with a crop top and some Levi s. Once again, I piled on the earrings and threw on a pair of sneakers.
