But other than that? There’s a rich diversity of couples, their fashion, and their design aesthetics—which is true of the Big Apple itself.
Some opted for grand affairs at Gilded Age mansions; others, at City Hall. Some couples wed on steps of landmark institutions—“We both envisioned an old-school New York City, Great Gatbsy-inspired, black and white ball for the big day,” model Kate Bock said of her wedding to Kevin Love at the New York Public Library—others, on the steps of their own stoop.
