A Romantic, Island-inspired Wedding Set in the Countryside of Connecticut
When Tory Burch style editor Grace Sickles arrived at St. Lawrence University, in Canton, New York, for her freshman year, John Harris, Jr., a broker at Cushman Wakefield, was one of the first people she met. Ironically, John’s aunt had introduced Grace’s mother to her husband while the two families were on vacation in the Bahamas 10 years prior.

We loved the elegance of its simplicity. I bought these vintage stamps from a collector in North Carolina, all of which had hints of hunter green, mirroring a cool September countryside.
Photo: Noa Griffel2/41Choosing my Emilia Wickstead rehearsal dress was about the easiest decision there was. As soon as I saw the dress, I knew it had to be mine. I am a real girl’s girl when it comes to dressing. I fell in love with the precious high neck, the romantic ball skirt, and the delicate waffle crepe fabrication. I wish that night had lasted longer, simply because I could have worn that dress forever.
Photo: Noa Griffel3/41This La Perla kimono was a gift from one of my mother’s oldest friends, Nicole Hambro. She hand-carried it from London and gave it to me at my bridal shower. It stayed safely in its box until the morning of my wedding.

The books were a cheeky vintage find from my sister, the ruby and sapphire bands I inherited from my grandmother, the pearl earrings (designed by my mother) were given to me on the eve of my wedding, and the citrine ring was a gift from my husband on the morning of.
