Hayley Bloomingdale and Dada Stileman’s Santa Barbara Wedding

    We worked with Fin Fellowes on our invites, she was the perfect person to help combine my colorful, quirky California ideas with Dada’s more traditional English ones. We used the view from our cocktail hour as the backdrop for the save the dates, and I loved how it turned out. Dada is very creative and artistic, so he drew some initial sketches for our crest, and Fin translated them perfectly. It was great working with someone who was open to working our ideas in with her own visions. I absolutely loved the final result!

    We had a fiesta party on Friday night at the Hotel Californian. It was a perfect location to welcome everyone to Santa Barbara: endless mountain views one way with the ocean, beach, and palm trees the other way. We really got lucky with a perfect sunset, too. And, of course, we had lots of margaritas and Coronas on hand for arrival—two of my favorite drinks!

    I knew I wanted to wear red, and Johanna Ortiz made me my dream fiesta dress. I absolutely loved it! We joked that Dada wanted his own time to wear white, hence, his outfit for our welcome party. I love the way our outfits looked together.
