Lela Rose and Mignonne Gavigan Hosted a Dinner Full of Southern Charm

On Thursday night, designer Lela Rose decided she had something to celebrate: one, her recent bridal fashion week show, and two, her accessories collaboration with it-brand Mignonne Gavigan. So she invited a discerning crowd to her Tribeca home, where she hosted quite the fall fête.

During cocktail hour, a string quartet played while models stood on a suspended platform, showing off the latest Lela Rose designs. Rose’s playful Norwich terrier weaved in between stilettoed feet to the delight of guests.

Come dinner time, attendees were welcomed to their seats by pearl-monogrammed napkins and flower arrangements with dahlias. The main course of chicken pot pie—some adorned with gold leaf pastry bows—delighted the diners. Throughout the evening, Rose and Gavigan held court, telling animated stories that were made even more charming by their Southern accents.

At the end of the night, guests were given a piece from the collection to take home, such as a beaded headband emblazoned with the word “love.” A treat for brides-to-be and accessory enthusiasts alike.
