Maisonette and Oscar de la Renta Hosted the Most Charming Mommy-and-Me Tea Party

Yesterday afternoon, in celebration of Oscar de la Renta’s Fall 2019 children’s collection, Maisonette hosted a fashionable group of mothers and daughters for tea. Surrounded by flowery arches and gilded mirrors, guests savored the scrumptious setting at Ladurée SoHo. The Parisian bakery, which helped make macarons a global obsession, delighted all ages with their signature sweets. Rose petals adorned flutes of champagne for the more mature shoppers.
The so-called “Net-a-Porter for kids,” Maisonette curates the best children’s products from around the world. The charming website features everything from dream dollhouses to darling dresses, raincoats, and rattles.
As the gold standard in American sophistication, Oscar de la Renta is a perfect match for Maisonette. Along with founders (and former Vogue editors) Sylvana Ward Durrett and Luisana Mendoza Roccia, attendees included Nicky Hilton Rothschild and Charlotte Groeneveld as well as their adorable young ’uns.
