Lauren and Charlotte Santo Domingo Hosted a Dinner in Honor of Emilia Wickstead

Last night’s gentle breeze and lingering sunset made for a picture-perfect backdrop for a milestone occasion. At the rooftop terrace of Casa Cruz, Lauren Santo Domingo and Charlotte Santo Domingo spearheaded a commemorative soirée for Emilia Wickstead’s 40th birthday.
Despite having arrived just days before her birthday celebration, Wickstead defied the weariness of jetlag, seemingly fueled by the invigorating spirit that courses through the city’s veins. “I feel like I just had a Sex And The City moment walking down the streets of New York with my train,” she said. Wickstead was amused by the curious gazes of passersby, all thanks to her delicate, baby blue jacquard column dress that effortlessly draped her silhouette. “Perhaps it’s because I was all dolled up at 7pm, which is quite early for New Yorkers.”
Amidst the luminous glow of twinkling candle lights and the animated conversations between the likes of Derek Blasberg, Ivy Getty, Chai Vasarhely, Brett Hayman, and Rickie de Sole, Wickstead’s birthday metamorphosed into a quintessentially New York summer night. The intimate group, all donned in timeless Wickstead pieces, indulged in a culinary feast, savoring its tantalizing array of delights, from lobster risotto and romesco-coated asparagus to the impeccably tender rib eye steak—family style, of course.
As Champagne flutes clinked and conversations began to enliven, a three-tier dark chocolate and cherry cake adorned with fresh daisies came out. Guests serenaded Wickstead with a heartfelt rendition of the birthday song, ushering the evening to a memorable finale.
