    Al and I arriving at Do Brazil. We decided to have our welcome party–cum–rehearsal dinner at this restaurant because it s a local favorite for seafood. The restaurant is on Shell Beach, aptly named since it’s composed primarily of seashells rather than sand.

    Friday night started at Eden Rock, one of the first hotels on the island and home to my favorite restaurant, Jean-Georges’s On The Rocks, by far. The evening began there and moved onto the beach.
